We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in UI and API automation. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing test automation scripts and implementing effective testing strategies in a dynamic environment. As a key member of the QA team, you will identify, analyze, and document problems following a clearly defined QA methodology and you will be responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of all manual and automation activities in your area of responsibility.

In this role, you will:
- Analyzing business requirement in order to determine the test strategy covered by automation testing.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver to ensure high-quality software releases
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual testing efforts.
- Ensure the automation test scripts follow coding standards and best practices.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, create test plans, and write comprehensive test cases.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):
- Overall 7-10 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar automation testing role.
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation (using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, Rest Assured, Karate etc.).
- Must have experience on automation framework setup.
- Must have strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
- Expertise in using JIRA and any other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins and Azure DevOps for executing automated tests.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Should be able to play lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications.
