Join our dynamic team as a Team Member where you will leverage your expertise in Selenium Cucumber Jira Watir and Ruby to drive innovative solutions in the insurance domain. With a hybrid work model and day shifts you will contribute to enhancing our processes and systems ensuring efficiency and quality in our deliverables. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our mission to provide exceptional service and solutions in the Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated testing solutions using Selenium and Cucumber ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Utilize Jira for effective project tracking and management maintaining clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts using Watir and Ruby optimizing testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough testing of insurance applications identifying and resolving defects to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements contributing to the continuous enhancement of testing methodologies.
  • Engage in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Support the integration of testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enhancing automation and streamlining deployment processes.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress ensuring transparency and accountability in project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies applying new knowledge to improve testing practices.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for team members promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Contribute to the development of testing standards and best practices ensuring consistency and quality across projects.

  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Selenium Cucumber Jira Watir and Ruby with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance domains enhancing testing relevance and accuracy.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex testing challenges.
  • Showcase effective communication skills enabling clear and concise interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field providing a strong foundation for technical expertise.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Selenium WebDriver Certification
