Lead Java Developer
The Technical Lead role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of advanced Java-based solutions within the international and electronic payments domain. With a hybrid work model and day shift the candidate will apply their expertise in Java technologies to improve payment systems ensuring seamless transactions and robust security. In this role, you will
- Lead the design and development of Java-based applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness in payment systems.
- Oversee the integration of REST Web APIs to facilitate secure and efficient communication between systems.
- Offer technical expertise in Java Message Service to improve processing capabilities for messages.
- Implement Java Collection frameworks to optimize data handling and storage solutions.
- Apply Java Caching System to improve application speed and efficiency.
- Ensure compatibility and functionality across Java 8 and Java 11 environments.
- Develop and maintain core Java components to support business-critical applications.
- Apply advanced Java techniques to solve complex problems and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Drive innovation in electronic and international payment solutions enhancing user experience and security.
- Monitor and fix application performance implementing necessary improvements.
- Mentor junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Engage in code reviews to ensure alignment with coding standards and practices.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- Possess strong proficiency in Java REST Web API Java Message Service and Java Collection frameworks.
- Demonstrate expertise in Java Caching System and advanced Java techniques.
- Have substantial experience in international and electronic payments domains.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills in English both written and spoken.
- Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model adapting to changing environments.
