Sr Product Consultant - Guidewire PolicyCenter

As a Sr. Product Consultant, you will contribute meaningfully by leading the implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for clients in the Property & Casualty Insurance sector. You’ll be part of a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive team environment, working alongside diverse stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the customization and configuration of Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet client-specific needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance on best practices and optimal use of Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Analyze client business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Design and deliver training sessions to client teams, supporting knowledge transfer and long-term success.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges effectively.
  • Partner with clients to gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Provide post-implementation support to ensure client satisfaction and solution adoption.
  • Stay informed on developments in Guidewire PolicyCenter and the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

  • Extensive experience with Guidewire APD, Integration, PCF, and Gosu.
  • Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
  • Proactive mindset in identifying opportunities for system improvement and innovation.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client OR Cognizant office in Mississauga or Thornhill. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
