As a Commercial Real Estate Solution Architect, you’ll make an impact by crafting the future of how one of Canada’s top financial institutions manages and evolves its commercial real estate technology landscape. Your work will directly support smarter investments, improved operations, and strengthened compliance, while helping teams innovate with purpose. You’ll craft and deliver forward-thinking, scalable solutions that integrate new technologies with legacy systems, enabling real-time insights and better decision-making. By encouraging collaboration and aligning with enterprise goals, your solutions will drive meaningful change in a fast paced, regulated industry. You will be a valued member of our IoT Smart Manufacturing practice and work collaboratively with our Senior Project Manager.
In this role, you will
- Coordinate with business and technology leaders to translate commercial real estate needs into actionable, scalable solutions.
- Design end-to-end architecture that supports both business and technical requirements while meeting regulatory standards.
- Align solution design with enterprise architecture and long-term organizational goals.
- Guide multi-functional teams through discovery, design, implementation, and delivery.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments while championing innovative, user-focused ideas.
- Foster an environment of transparent documentation to enhance collaboration among teams.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to spark continuous improvement and innovation.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record of 5 or more years as a Solution Architect, with expertise in commercial real estate technology, ideally within financial services.
- Detailed understanding of commercial real estate workflows, platforms, and systems.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills; you lead through influence and support.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka, JMS), and system integration.
- Expert in Agile environments with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Detailed knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in the financial industry.
What will help you stand out (preferred skills)
- Proficiency with microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration design patterns.
- Strategic approach with a dedication for innovation, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration.
- Certification in SAFe® for Architects or a related framework is an added bonus.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client office in Toronto, ON.
