What are we looking for:
We are looking for dynamic, experienced SAP Service Line Specialist keen to be part of a results-oriented culture accelerating digital change for our large, complex clients. Service Line exec Specialists (SLS) are sales specialists focused on creating, pursuing and closing opportunities in nominated industry markets. We work closely with and within client accounts to support vertical market alignment.
SLS’ provide deep expertise in one or more of the Enterprise Platform Services Practice or Business areas to support Cognizant’s client account teams in vertical markets and their account expansion plans into existing accounts in ASEAN market and new business areas.
The Service Line Specialist will be a trusted advisor to both the client and the Cognizant Client Partner blending strategic and tactical sales experience.
This specific SLS role is for our ERP/Finance practice within Enterprise Platform Service Practice in GCN region
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role are spread across three areas –
a) Practice development
b) Sales and Presales in existing and emerging areas of SAP, and
c) SAP Relationship management.
Additionally, the role will involve in providing delivery oversight to all SAP in the region as well as working with Cognizant Markets team and the digital networks (acquisitions) market teams for the development of GTM plays.
Practice
- Development of new capabilities in SAP emerging cloud offerings and related acquisition
- Co-ordination with Cognizant’s SAP acquisitions globally (e.g. Uti Gration) to bring the capability to ASEAN region
- Creating a supportive community (communities) that enable teams to come together to learn, create and have a sense of belonging – Employee Engagement
- Assist in developing curriculums and technical career paths for their capability - in conjunction with the Academy and track attendance for the teams.
- Support regional delivery centres (Adelaide) as well diversity goals
- Support the growth of the practice through domain salespeople, domain solution architects, sales collateral and technical SMEs as part of the sales cycle
- Manage the utilisation for the capability - including bench, partial recoveries and forecasted hiring - this will be as a budget
Sales and Presales
- Work with broader Enterprise Platform Services practice (SAP and other practices) sales teams on identifying and pursuing opportunities in key target accounts
- Work with Cognizant and Digital Network teams to support the additional demand generation
- Engage with the global communities to bring methods, accelerators and processes to ASEAN and the team.
- Work with the account teams and projects to drive quality and customer satisfaction through ensuring value creation from all community members
- Align presales / estimation support for the deals
- Deal qualification, construction and reviews
SAP and Partner Relationships
- Act as the primary representative of Cognizant SAP and ecosystem partners in SAP and industry forums
- Maintain and nurture executive connects within SAP with the aim to drive partner driven sales and capability development
- Create platforms/forums to provide opportunities for practice associates to work in collaboration with SAP and ecosystem partner teams
- Work with Cognizant and SAP marketing teams to create joint activities and events including outreach programs
Additionally, the role is also expected to provide delivery oversight and active participation in escalation management in co-ordination with the Global Delivery leadership.
