About the role
As a Power BI Architect you will make an impact by designing solution architecture. You will be a valued member of the Retail and Consumer Goods team and work closely with team members and the client.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for Solution Architecture Design. Designing scalable and secure Power BI architectures. As well as define data models, relationships, and DAX calculations.
- Connect Power BI to various data sources, design and implement ETL processes using Power Query or external tools like Azure Data Factory.
- Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and ensure reports meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Improve speed and efficiency by optimizing data models and DAX querieswell as Implement best practices for data loading and refresh strategies.
Work model: Onsite

What you need to have to be considered
- 10+ years in IT related role
- Proficient in Power BI Administration, Data source setup, RLS, Performance tuning.
- Should have knowledge in workspace setup and standardizing the reports across projects
3. Deep understanding of data modeling and advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building dynamic reports and dashboards.
4. Skilled in crafting compelling, user-friendly Power BI dashboards, reports, and essential metrics tailored for business collaborators.
5. Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying databases, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing report performance.
6. Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Tools & Platforms: Experience working with GitHub, Atlassian (Jira Confluence), and ServiceNow.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Application will be accepted until July 19, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000- $150,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
