Active Directory & Entra ID Specialist

As a Cloud Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that align with our business objectives. You will leverage your expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory to ensure seamless integration and security. This role requires a hybrid work model offering flexibility while maintaining collaboration with the team.

In this role, you will

  • Be an expert in Troubleshooting, configuring & managing Active Directory DS 2019, Client (DFSR and DFSN), AD FS & AD CS- Required
  • Have the ability to design, maintain and troubleshoot issues specific to SPNs, Conditional access policies
  • Configure and Manage AD FS
  • Handle Entra ID connect upgrades, Expert level knowledge on connecters, metaverse and synchronization service- Required
  • Strong knowledge of AD FSMO roles and functional levels
  • Plan, design, troubleshooting DNS and Group Policies
  • Configure and Manage AD DS Sites and Replication
  • Hands-on knowledge in various recovery scenarios of AD, DNS

Required skills: what you need to be considered

  • Strong AD Migration Experience
  • Should be able to perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents
  • Knowledge of Capacity Planning
  • Handle L2 L3 technical escalations
  • Ability to quickly analyze and diagnose technical problems
  • Working knowledge on Windows Operating systems
  • L3 level experience in Windows Operating systems
  • Ability to contribute to Problem and change management

Preferred skills: what will help you stand out

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert- Good to Have
  • Sound knowledge and troubleshooting experience in managing large multi-forest Active Directory infrastructure
  • Ability to collaborate and troubleshoot major incidents
  • Expert level knowledge on Microsoft Entra ID
  • Work with Local and Global Teams

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client office in Brampton, Ontario.
