Job Description:
Cognizant initiated a Digital Workplace program named One Workplace Program in 2019. This program aims to develop global modern products to be rolled out within the entire group in the coming years.
As part of the program, the Devices Product line defines an innovative vision and strategy for the usage, coordination and implementation in all entities of Modern Workplace devices, (Windows, Mac, Mobile) including Virtual Desktop, while insuring legacy transition. In this Product Line, we have created a modern managed product based on an uptodate Windows 11, Cloud managed (Microsoft Intune) device, called Windows Edition. We have put in place a Feature Team whose mission is to build the product, be responsible of the Release Management as well as insuring deployment to our customers by configuring associated setup.
In this context, the Feature Team works with several Product Owners:
- The service is responsible for the global product's Release Management, focus on global changes (new features, upgrades, bug fixes) for the product.
- The service integrates Product Owners who are in charge of insuring proper deployment of Windows Edition Product into Cognizant entity (each PO on a specific scope).
The Services required are as follows:
- Service to be the mirror Project Manager of the customer’s Project Manager, following up entity activities to integrate the product as well as Group Operations & Feature Team activities
- Service to build the backlog for the deployment of Windows Edition for each new entity that will be attached to the Product Owner' scope
- Service to manage organizing workshop to collect entity needs
- Service to create the items in the backlog of the feature team, build the release planning and communicate on the progression
- Service to consult with the other Product Owners of Windows Edition and the Product Manager who drives the roadmap, in a "scrum of scrums" organization
The main activities are for the Integration PO to be part of the agile organization based on an iterative way of working with:
- A sprint planning during which the service is to prepare the sprint backlog content
- A sprint review for which the service will prepare with the Feature Team a demonstration of the main items of the sprint
- A retrospective in which the service will actively coordinate to work on team improvement actions
- Service to participate/organize Steering Committees with entities during their onboarding process
- Service participate in monthly Steering Committees, led by the Product Manager with Workplace Senior Management
Expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of expertise in project management
- Minimum 2 years of expertise in agile methodology, acting as a Product Owner
- Functional expertise of Workplace/MDM solutions and IT domain
- Editorial expertise
- Relational and organizational qualities, autonomy
- English Environment mandatory; French preferred
