ServiceNow Solutions Architect - ServiceNow

The Solution Architect - ServiceNow guides and owns the delivery of ServiceNow implementations by providing mentorship and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. Find solutions to business problems. Ensuring that the new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business, user, and other views. Describes solution in a language that is understandable to all. Facilitates communication (bridging the gap) between process owners and the C-Suite.

Role & Responsibilities:

Understand how the technologies available can be used to tackle the business problem.

  • Knows what frameworks, platform application, or technical stack can be used to create a solution.
  • Recognizes how the ServiceNow application will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will interact with each other
  • Be cognizant of how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported.
  • Configuration vs. Customization
  • Technical Debt
  • Can define the Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow
  • Skilled at clearly defining for customers how Governance works with respect to the platform and how it works with respect to the project.
  • Clearly defines what Organizational Change Management is and why it is a key component of a successful project.

Experience & Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or the Sciences
  • IT4IT, ITILv4, TOGAF
  • Should have their SN Certifications: CSA, CAD, ITSM,
  • Plus, two other CIS-Certifications: ITOM, ITAM, ITBM, CSM, FSM, SecOps/GRC, HRSD, SPM
  • Has a high-level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, API’s and mobile application design. Experience preferred: ITSM, ITILv3. Certifications preferred: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist.
  • Participated in 20+ ServiceNow implementations across various modules
  • 3+ years of architecting solutions in the ServiceNow platform
  • ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript are required.
  • Angular JS, Soap, Rest, JSON, Ajax, CSS, SaSS, HTML5, SP Widgets, and XML are all desired.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 26, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
