Position Summary

The UI Path Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Run and Support manager must possess comprehensive skills in RPA, encompassing both consulting and development. They will actively engage with business stakeholders to conduct consulting-led RPA process assessments, establish the RPA CoE, and create intelligent process automation using UI Path. They will ensure that SLAs are strictly adhered to by the R&S team and that monthly reporting is presented in a timely fashion to senior client management.

They will be problem solving orientated and able to prioritise work and ensure that urgent issues are attended to in a calm and coordinated fashion.

The R&S manager will also manage an offshore team of associates, between 8-15 members. He will need to ensure that they follow best practices, attend daily stand ups, keep up to date on the latest releases and functions on UIPATH.

Mandatory Skills

  • Possess practical experience using UiPath RPA at an intermediate level and be UiPath certified
  • Able to architect, present and explain RPA solutions to various stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage development team members working on support and Maintenance activities
  • Able to work with software vendors to escalate product issues.
  • Able to understand, enforce and report on strict Run and Support SLAs to client senior management.
  • Have experience in the Insurance industry and understand Insurance processes.
  • Solid technical experience in an IT programming development environment with evidence of the ability to complete functional and technical designs, code, unit test and documentation in UiPath RPA
  • Able to quickly understand customers’ business processes and explore and architect solutions leveraging RPA tools.
  • Willingness to keep up to date on the latest versions of UiPath and new functionality.
  • Able to work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues and assisting with replanning where necessary
  • Knowledge of RPA and AI API’s
  • Strong experience using software technologies such as .Net Framework, C#, and VB scripts.
  • Be an expert in agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts
  • Be disciplined in managing project scope and timelines.
  • Initiative-taker: self-directed and initiative-taking in managing tasks and setting challenging targets to achieve client’s demands
  • As we are consulting business, naturally we seek excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and unprompted attitude for implementing and developing new operation

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for architecture, design, build, test, and deployment of the UiPath RPA solutions, as well as managing teams, ensuring new team members have mentors and learn best practices.
  • Work as a lead developer role and managing both onshore and offshore teams
  • Contribute to solution documentation to support solution transition and maintenance, do effort estimation, Delivery planning, Software Quality Assurance
  • Creating Handover Documentation
  • Able to deliver on assigned responsibilities adhering to coding standards, policies, and procedures
  • Create, maintain, and manage technical quality assurance processes and guidelines.
  • Working on Support and Maintenance activities
  • Use agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts
  • Deliver on assigned responsibilities adhering to coding standards, policies, and procedures
    Work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues
  • Scheduling and conducting quality audit inspections, and analysing and reviewing systems, data, and documentation
  • Identifying variations and potential high-risk areas in securing adherence to standards and procedures
  • Recommending corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures
  • Communicating, educating, and consulting with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures and quality control issues and activities
  • Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving system problems and issues
  • Developing, conducting, and providing technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures
  • Testing, identifying, and diagnosing functionality errors and faults in systems, and programming code within established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure systems perform to specification
  • Performing organisational systems architecture reviews and assessments, and recommending current and future hardware and software strategies and directions
  • Creating and reviewing technical documentation such as procedural, instructional, and operational guides and manuals.

Salary Range: >$100,000
