Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with 6 to 8 years of experience specializing in Finance-Record to Report (GL). The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. Experience in the merchandising domain is a plus. This role does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes and providing actionable insights to drive the companys financial strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business processes related to Finance-Record to Report (GL) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including business requirements process flows and functional specifications.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize financial reporting and general ledger processes.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired business processes.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Support the implementation of new financial systems and processes ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions making adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all business processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve business processes.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Finance-Record to Report (GL) processes.
  • Have experience in business analysis and project management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data analytics and financial reporting tools.
  • Show excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Have experience in the merchandising domain (nice to have).
  • Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and day shifts.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully implementing business process improvements.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) are preferred.
