Job Summary

  • UHGJP00100872: We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cucumber Selenium & Microservices Testing along with domain experience in Medicare and Medicaid Claims. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance healthcare services. The position operates during day shifts with no travel required.

  • Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases using Cucumber and Selenium to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
  • Perform functional regression and integration testing to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Utilize domain knowledge in Medicare and Medicaid Claims to validate system functionality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test results and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage of test processes.
  • Monitor and report on test execution progress ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality goals.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices in quality engineering and test automation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to software quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the development of quality metrics and KPIs to measure and improve testing effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Cucumber and Selenium with hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in Medicare and Medicaid Claims understanding the nuances and requirements of the industry.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in identifying and resolving defects.
  • Show proficiency in creating and executing test plans test cases and automated test scripts.
  • Have experience working in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members in quality engineering practices.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adopting new testing tools and methodologies.
  • Show commitment to delivering high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess a strong understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
  • Exhibit a results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving project goals and deadlines.
