Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 5 to 12 ears of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. This role requires working from the office during day shifts. The candidate will contribute to our projects by developing and optimizing data solutions ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data solutions using Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
- Optimize data pipelines and workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Databricks and PySpark.
- Implement best practices for data management and governance.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Databricks and PySpark technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and methodologies.
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Drive innovation by exploring new tools and techniques to enhance data solutions.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PySpark for developing scalable data solutions.
- Have a solid understanding of data management and governance best practices.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Show ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Have strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
Certifications Required
Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.
