Cognizant is looking for an experienced Service Manager for our fast-growing business area. An ideal candidate is someone best problem-solvers, idea-makers, and high-energy individual. Grade: Manager (Depends on experience and technical expertise)

    • Responsibilities:
      • Provide first and second line application support, resolving technical queries and communicating solutions directly to customers.
      • Ensure smooth and effective operation of applications and round-the-clock availability of systems through careful monitoring of infrastructure and production processes.
      • Apply customer support skills, business, and technical knowledge to triage, diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate or resolve customer application issues.
      • Assist in developing and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implementing best practices for achieving support objectives.
      • Perform Permit to operate on each application release, ensuring stability and reliability.
    • Requirements:
      • Competent IT literacy around applications and systems.
      • Firm grasp of core technical areas, including databases and SQL, and operating system platforms such as UNIX, Solaris, and Windows.
      • Excellent communication skills, customer support abilities, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
