Sales Operation Lead

About the role

As a Sales Operations Lead you will make an impact by leading and inspiring our team ensuring operational excellence and continuous growth in a fast-paced digital advertising environment. You will be a valued member of the IOA team and work collaboratively with team leads, sales associates and the client.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and Develop Sales Teams: Coach and mentor Sales Team Leads and Sellers, identify development opportunities, and manage performance through structured feedback and improvement plans.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Own and track key metrics (Outbound Effort, CSAT, Sales KPIs), execute action plans, and deliver comprehensive reporting (WBR, MBR, QBR) and Root Cause Analyses.
  • Manage Talent Lifecycle: Oversee hiring in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, implement reward and disciplinary programs, and handle deboarding processes.
  • Consult and Optimize Campaigns: Provide strategic, data-driven advice to SMBs on digital advertising, optimize campaigns, and promote additional Google products to maximize ROI.
  • Influence and Collaborate: Act as the main program contact, influence stakeholders, and contribute to sales targets in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Work model: We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in city, state. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered

· Very strong organizational skills and extensive experience with customer support teams and metrics.

· Proficient comprehension of Google tools (spreadsheets, docs, slides, etc.).

· C1/C2 Advanced level of English.

· In-depth knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Video, Display, Apps, etc.).

· A true flexible and proactive team player with a positive attitude, experienced in motivating teams and resolving challenges.

These will help you stand out

· 2-5 years of experience in a management sales role.

· Proven experience in advertising sales, media account management, successful client engagement, and consistent business growth.

· Experience working against assigned quotas with a strong desire to exceed sales targets or sales KPIs.

· Experience performing coaching and utilizing registration tools.

· Experience working with CRM systems.
