Job Summary

As a Cyber Security Specialist with 7 to 9 years of experience you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our software applications. SSO SAML federation using CA Siteminder and develop custom Java assertions by calling RESTful services and Spring Java Webservices.

JavaJ2EE experience.

Good to have AWS knowledge.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of secure coding practices in JavaEE applications to protect against security threats.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of secure software solutions ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding techniques and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and code reviews to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls and measures.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation including policies procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends threats and technologies to continuously improve security measures.
  • Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on secure coding practices and security protocols.
  • Contribute to the development of security awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand security requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure that all security measures align with the companys overall security strategy and objectives.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Secure Coding
  • JavaEE and Secure Coding for Java.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in cyber security with a focus on secure software development.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of security principles practices and technologies.
  • Show proficiency in conducting security assessments and code reviews.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
