Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cucumber TestNG Java Rest API and Jira. Experience in Asset and Wealth Management is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic environment contributing to the companys success and making a positive impact on society.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cucumber and TestNG to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create corresponding test cases.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure the stability of the application.
  • Utilize Java programming skills to enhance and maintain the automation framework.
  • Test Rest APIs to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Track and manage defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide detailed and comprehensive test reports to stakeholders highlighting key metrics and findings.
  • Work closely with product management to understand requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the testing process and overall product quality.
  • Mentor junior team members providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all testing activities.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience with Cucumber and TestNG for automated testing.
  • Must have proficiency in Java programming for developing and maintaining test scripts.
  • Must have experience with Rest API testing to validate functionality and performance.
  • Must have expertise in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.
  • Nice to have experience in Asset and Wealth Management domain to understand business requirements better.
  • Nice to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Nice to have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.
