Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a preference for those with domain experience in Analytics. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel required. The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Utilize Java and Selenium to automate test scripts and enhance testing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any areas of concern.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline the testing process.
  • Monitor and track software defects ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to leverage data insights for improving testing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for software quality.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Have experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in test automation and scripting.
  • Show ability to analyze test results and provide detailed reports.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferably have domain experience in Analytics.
  • Be familiar with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
  • Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
  • Show ability to work in a hybrid model and day shift.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Hold a relevant certification in software testing or quality assurance.
