Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IBM CP4I and a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance as well as Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust technology solutions using IBM CP4I to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the architecture aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular reviews of system architecture to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture and related processes.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex technical issues and minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the companys competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of technology solutions.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Ensure that all technology solutions are scalable secure and aligned with the companys long-term goals.

Qualifications

  • Possess a deep understanding of IBM CP4I and its application in the insurance domain.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and secure technology solutions.
  • Have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Display a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Possess the ability to mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Certifications Required

IBM Certified Solution Architect - Cloud Pak for Integration Certified Insurance Industry Professional

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 13 MAR 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $150000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
