Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 3 to 10 years of experience in Lucidworks Fusion AWS Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. Experience in Bioinformatics is a plus. This role does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Lucidworks Fusion AWS Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the applications are current.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement gathering design development testing and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Document application designs processes and procedures for future reference.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience with Lucidworks Fusion AWS Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr.
- Should have a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Should have experience with version control systems like Git.
- Nice to have experience in the Bioinformatics domain.
- Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
