About role

As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you play a crucial role in the team by managing data migration, storage, and processing activities. You contribute to optimizing the target architecture with the most suitable tools and technologies. Beyond hands-on tasks, you guide the team on best practices, technology standards, and potential automations within Azure cloud architecture. Your expertise in Python and PySpark is essential for development activities.

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in the following skill set.

• Senior Data engineer with good hands knowledge on Azure stack – specifically ADF, SQL, Databricks and Synapse.

• Hands-on experience with Azure data services, including data migration, data storage, and data processing.

• Good knowledge, experience and understanding of ETL/data warehouse.

• Proficient in Python/Pyspark and experience in working on PySpark in an Azure/Databricks environment.

• Experience in Azure DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and version control.

• Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with broad range of stakeholders.
