Tosca Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Tosca to develop and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and performance of SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in test automation, scripting, and test management using Tosca.

In this role, you will:

• Design and execute automated test cases for SAP applications, including regression tests, functional tests, and end-to-end business process tests using Tosca.
• Managing and executing test cases using Tosca test execution features.
• Perform maintenance and support of the Automation Repository at regular intervals, as needed.
• Support in building/migrating automation repository.
• Help in the preparation of delivery plans, roadmap and deliverables across the timeline, etc.
• Share timely reports showing overall automation progress.
• Closely work with customer SMEs to understand business process and identify potential scenarios for automation.
• Track defects and ensure timely resolution, specifically for SAP environments.
• Help/Support Automation lead Perform Proof of Concepts for Automation Feasibility for application(s) to be automated, identify bottlenecks, if any and share the findings with the Automation Architect.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• Overall 5+ years of Test Automation including but not limited to Applications involving both SAP GUI and SAP Web Ui based applications.
• Extensive experience in using Tricentis Tosca for automating SAP application testing.
• Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience on SAP specific Automation Tool – Tosca.
• Should have worked on 1-2 projects involving SAP ECC / S/4 HANA and covering multiple SAP Functional areas.
• Knowledge in setting up Tool Infrastructure and performing Proof of Concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Automation Script Development
• Experience in supporting test automation strategy, framework, and test plan documents.
• Remediation of existing Automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge in overall Test scheduling using automation scripts.
• Knowledge of setting up automation tool infrastructure.
• Knowledge of integrating SAP automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) for continuous testing during the SAP development lifecycle.
