Key Responsibilities

Support & drive multiple development teams to deliver their objectives in fast-paced and complex projects.

Lead high-performing engineers at offshore to innovate and enhance critical payment infrastructure.

Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver

Support leading efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths.

Create a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning.

Share best practices of modern planning and execution.

Track the deliverables based on Productivity, Quality through Jira & Pluralsight and Staffing.

Provide reporting as necessary on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans

Work closely with onshore client stakeholders through governance meetings and report on the

things working well and require attention

Help in resource selection process & onboarding

Assess and implement training plans for technical personnel as required.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

This role requires a 5+ years of professional experience as an Sr. Tech lead/ Sr. Architect/ Sr. Delivery lead comfortable in handling complex technical programs with total experience of 12+ years.

Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut for building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and cloud platforms like AWS (or similar).

Proven understanding of unit testing, API testing, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, playwright).

Consistent record of delivering in Agile/Scrum environments. Should show willingness to drive Gen AI initiatives/ implementation.

Expected to work from Client office based out of Boston, MA.

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 30th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $113,000 to $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
