Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technology Specialist with 8 to 10 years of expertise in IT infrastructure and end-user computing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Intune implementation, including policy configuration, device enrolment, and security compliance management. They should be proficient in SCCM migration, handling application packaging, deployment strategies, and integration with modern endpoint management solutions. Advanced PowerShell scripting skills are essential for automation, system transformations, and optimizing workflows. Additionally, they must be adept in Microsoft 365 migration from on-premises to online, ensuring seamless transition and user adoption.
This role also involves providing on-site and remote technical support, managing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. The specialist will play a key role in enhancing end-user experience through efficient service delivery, proactive problem-solving, and continuous process improvements. Strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working across teams and engaging with stakeholders
Mandatory Skills
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake-based data ingestion and replication
- Intune Implementation – Expertise in policy configuration, device enrollment, security compliance, application deployment, and troubleshooting within Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- SCCM Migration – Strong knowledge of migrating SCCM environments, including application packaging, distribution, patch management, reporting, and integration with modern endpoint solutions
- PowerShell Scripting – Advanced scripting capabilities for automation, system transformations, infrastructure optimization, and task automation in Windows environments
- Microsoft 365 Migration – Experience in transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based M365 solutions, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
- Windows and Mac OS – Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing operating systems, along with security settings and application support
- Networking & Security – Understanding of network configurations, endpoint security, VPN setup, and identity/access management
- Service Delivery & Communication – Strong ability to interact with stakeholders, manage SLAs, document technical processes, and collaborate with vendors for seamless IT operations
Roles And Responsibilities
Intune Implementation & Management
- Configure device enrolment policies for corporate and BYOD devices
- Implement security compliance policies, including encryption, conditional access, and endpoint protection
- Manage application deployment via Intune, ensuring seamless software distribution
- Troubleshoot Intune-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
SCCM Migration & Administration
- Oversee migration from SCCM to modern endpoint management solutions
- Handle application packaging, deployment strategies, and patch management
- Optimize SCCM reporting and monitoring, ensuring compliance with IT policies
- Integrate SCCM with cloud-based solutions for enhanced scalability
PowerShell Scripting & Automation
- Develop custom scripts for automating routine IT tasks and system transformations
- Optimize workflow automation, reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency
- Implement PowerShell-based security configurations for endpoint protection
- Troubleshoot PowerShell scripts, ensuring seamless execution across IT environments
Microsoft 365 Migration & Support
- Lead on-premises to cloud migration, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
- Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams configurations
- Provide user training and adoption strategies for M365 services
- Monitor M365 security and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide on-site and remote assistance for hardware and software issues
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, system performance, and application errors
- Maintain incident tracking and resolution logs, ensuring timely service delivery
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams for escalated technical issues
Device & Peripheral Maintenance
- Install, configure, and manage desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Ensure firmware updates and security patches are applied regularly
- Optimize device performance, reducing downtime and enhancing user productivity
- Implement asset management strategies, tracking device lifecycle and usage
Process Improvement & Service Delivery
- Enhance end-user experience through proactive troubleshooting and IT service optimization
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT support and infrastructure management
- Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely issue resolution
- Conduct regular audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless IT operations
- Engage with vendors and third-party service providers for infrastructure enhancements
- Provide technical documentation and training, ensuring knowledge transfer
- Participate in IT strategy discussions, contributing to long-term infrastructure planning
Qualifications/Certifications (Optional):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- ITIL Certification
