Responsibility:

Automation and Analytics Tools Transitions and Transformation:

-
  • Work with Automation and Analytics Tools GoToMarket team during engagement to carry out delivery assurance and sign off of Automation and Analytics Tools solutions.
  • Assit in carrying out Due deligence to enable drafting out a SOW for Automation and Analytics Tools implementation.
  • Assit Automation and Analytics Tools GoToMarket team to prepare a High Level Design document for engaements.
  • Get a Low Level design document on Automation and Analytics Tools implementation prepared and signed off with TO CoE/Enterprise Architect.
  • Plan and muster resources for Automation and Analytics Tools T&T.
  • Coordinate with Transitions and account delivery PsoC for a smooth transition phase execution for Automation and Analytics Tools.
  • Coordinate with Transformation and account delivery PsoC for a smooth transition phase execution for Automation and Analytics Tools.
  • Govern and monitor the Tools T&T delivery as per signed off SOW/timelines committed.
  • Govern and monitor skills and resources including co ordinating with CoE for skills enablement.
  • Handover to Automation and Analytics Tools steady state team during/after GoLive.
  • Prepare and socialise lessons learnt and suggest improvements for Automation and Analytics Tools T&T delivery for future deals.

Automation and Analytics Tools Professional Services:

:

  • Work with Automation and Analytics Tools GoToMarket team during engagement to carry out delivery assurance and sign off of Automation and Analytics Tools solutions.
  • Assit in carrying out Due deligence, if required as per scope, to enable drafting out a SOW for Automation and Analytics Tools PS delivery.
  • Assit Automation and Analytics Tools GoToMarket team to prepare a High Level Design document for the PS delivery.

  • Plan and muster resources for Automation and Analytics Tools PS Delivery.
  • Coordinate with customer and delivery team for smooth execution for Automation and Analytics Tools Professional Services delivery.
  • Govern and monitor the Tools PS delivery as per signed off SOW/timelines committed.
  • Handover to Automation and Analytics Tools steady state team during/after GoLive.
  • Prepare and socialise lessons learnt and suggest improvements for Automation and Analytics Tools PS delivery for future deals.

Automation and Analytics Tools Operations and delivery Management:

:

  • Connect with the T&T and PS team to get full visibility on ongoing T&T/PS delivery to include High/ Low Level design document, detailed resource plan and SCQT(Scope,Cost,Quality and Time for the projects).
  • Plan and muster resources for BAU/Sustenance of Automation and Analytics Tools.
  • Takeover Automation and Analytics Tools steady state team during/after GoLive form the T&T/PS team(if in scope).
  • Coordinate with customer and delivery team for smooth BAU activities for Automation and Analytics Tools delivery(IPC/SR).
  • Govern and monitor Tools managed Services delivery as per signed off SOW.
  • Govern and monitor skills and resources including co ordinating with CoE for skills enablement.
  • Actively participate in delivery engagements in CSI and BIC initiatives.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, solution developments/suggestion, journal contributions.

Requirement Gathering:

:

  • Understand the customer needs.
  • Identify avenues to elicit customer requirements (eg workshops etc) in own area of specialization.
  • Understand the customer painpoints and technical challenges leading to impact on business or customer experience.

Technology Advisory & Consulting (for clients):

:

  • Proactively identify technology solution alternatives in line with specific client objectives / challenges / context.
  • Conduct current state analysis versus the Industry landscape and identify the roadmap for the same.
  • Identify the benefits for the customer to invest in specific technologies and assignments.
  • Propose/Create the solution framework.
  • Guide the teams to enable creation of an appropriate development strategy.
  • Review solutions to ensure alignment with customer objectives, organization guidelines/benchmarks and industry best practices.
  • Create PoCs/Technology labs to demonstrate capabilities to clients and stakeholders.

Solution Design & Development:

:

  • For complex engagements within emerging technologies in respective domains review the initial solutions/ planning.
  • Understand the customer specific process, analyze the gaps, map Cognizant and customer (domain specific) process and tools on technical requirements.
  • Understand the various work streams and evaluate technology alternatives and recommend solutions for emerging areas of specialization.
  • Provide solutions for complex engineering problems.
  • Independently define technology architecture for complex applications combining multiple technology layers within the boundaries of the enterprise architecture.
  • Resolve any issues based on expertise in technology area.
  • For large / complex projects, guide the team for Proof of Concept activities.
  • Review architecture, design and delivery on engagements based on defined standards and guidelines for technology solutions.

Resource/ Efforts Estimation and Monitoring:

:

  • Review estimates for projects related to new technologies related to area under purview.
  • Provide guidance to team around estimation methodology/model, when required.

Design & Analysis:

:

  • Supervise the development of proof of concept.
  • assist in resolving issues and providing guidance.
  • Verify the interdependencies of various components and help in carrying out impact analysis of changes in any component of the work package on the interdependencies.
  • Work with architect to understand the architecture of the application, high level approaches and ensure that the design is in line with overall direction.
  • conduct supervisor review and walkthroughs, as required.
  • Organize design review sessions with various stakeholders to validate design is as per requirements.
  • Identify and use Reusable components from the repository.

Coding:

:

  • Identify the standards applicable for the work packages / components.
  • Ensure that the team is familiarized with development environment and CTS and customer specific coding standards offer expert advice.
  • Design and develop reusable components Analyse and reuse such developed components from the repository during the design process.
  • Review the code created by team and provide review comments to the developers.
  • develop code for critical module(s) needed for the project.
  • Handle escalations related to critical technical issues.
  • create detailed tasks for the scope and share timelines for the same with the team.
  • track the status of the tasks assigned, maintain detailed task information for the work packages owned and do periodic reporting.
  • conduct technical review and audit.
  • Create quality check points for all deliverables.
  • estimate at task level in the area of work concerned, measure and report the actual effort against the estimated effort and ensure task progress reporting in C20 or any other applicable tool.
  • Prepare and report status for the scope responsible.
  • conduct peer reviews in coding and testing phase.

Testing:

:

  • Review the test plan for the project and supervise execution of testing.
  • address issues brought to self through escalations or for mediation.
  • Review and validate completion of unit test logs, test plan documents and data requirements.
  • Drive automation of unit testing.
  • Ensure that the integration for the teams work has been completed before the next phase of testing (system testing).

Defect Management:

:

  • Review periodic reports and ensure that the team closes out on the defects.

Knowledge Management:

:

  • Identify key focus areas for capability building within Infra development.
