Position Summary
Join Cognizant as an Devops & Automation Engineer with strong Salesforce expertise and DevOps skills collaborate with our experienced Engineering teams on exciting client projects!
- Devops engineer responsible of design, develop, test, maintain and document program code in accordance with user requirements, and system and technical specifications.
- Researching, consulting, analyzing and evaluating system program needs
- Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
- Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities
- Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
- Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in Agile/scrum methodologies, development, testing & estimation process
- Certified Automation Architect with strong experiences in developing API’s and enabler for Robotic Process Automation
- Skilled in TOSCA, Selenium, JAVA, UNIX shell scripting and SQL
- Knowledge on AWS components and API automation
- Familiar with CI/CD and other deployments tools and process
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel macros, Word and Access in Development and Test with Bigdata using Hadoop and HVR technologies
- HealthCare domain expertise in Salesforce Service, Marketing and Health clouds
- E2E Knowledge on Healthcare Enrollment process including Salesforce, Facets, EAM and EDL integrations.
Roles And Responsibilities
As an Dev ops and Automation Salesforce engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated operational engineering solutions for large and complex projects. You will also be involved in improvement initiatives within the Cognizant community that inspire improvement across our DevOps culture.
- Code for Healthcare Enrollment Engine using Salesforce platform
- Understand the requirement given by PO with help of BA and SM in Healthcare customer project
- Need to construct different design aspect of the code with respect to SaaS applications
- Review changes with different stakeholders and close all review feedback related to design before start of build
- Build the changes in development environment
- Validate with different condition and deploy to application testing environment
- Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to application platform
- Perform configuration and customization of the application platform as per requirement
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts
- Involve in Test plans, solution walkthroughs with customer business and IT stakeholders, execution in Integration development and Automation testing
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software application testing team to fix the issues and setting up environment like building stubs and other activities
- As part of Defect management process, needs to participate in triage calls with internal and external stakeholders, including daily stand-ups/ Sprint meetings with stakeholders
- Implementing to Jenkins, Git, Bamboo tools to deploy code and defect fixes in different environment
- Needs to perform Functional and System validation to check the stability of the application, validating the functionality and transactions
- Work directly with Business\Client for delivering Walkthrough’s and presenting the validation Plan
- Verifying and validating the transactions reaching Enterprise Data Lake(EDL) using SQL queries
- Moving the code from AT, SIT, Pre-Production and Production environments once code is tested successfully in each environment
Qualifications & Certifications:
Master of Computer Applications with below certifications
- ISTQB Certification
- Salesforce certifications
- Safe Agilist
