Senior Java Full Stack Engineer (With Rebate Experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL along with domain expertise in Payer. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required.
Location: Irving - TX, USA, (On Site)

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Implement best practices for software development including coding standards testing and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the software system
- Ensure the security and scalability of applications through proper design and implementation
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of software solutions
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in technical skills in SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL
- Strong Rebate experience needed
- Have domain expertise in Payer with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Have experience with agile development methodologies
- Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model
- Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
- Have experience with version control systems such as Git
- Possess a passion for technology and innovation.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until April 25th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
