Workday Financials Senior Principal Consultant (d/f/m)
Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (hybrid)
The Opportunity
As a Workday Financials Senior Principal Consultant (d/f/m), you will “bridge the gap” between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. You will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday Financials implementation.
Your Key Result Areas
• Serve as a Workday Financials expert with deep knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation, focusing on design, configuration, testing, and implementation of either R2R, P2P, or C2C, and related areas.
• Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
• Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday solution.
• Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, the project team, and the Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
• Willingness and ability to take a leadership position on a project.
• Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
• Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.
Your Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 4+ years of hands-on functional Workday Financials experience
• 5+ years Finance software experience required.
• Workday Financials certification required.
• Experience gathering business requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
• Demonstrated functional experience in Financials and related Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English - language level C1-C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
