About the role
The role involves a variety of financial and analytical tasks. You'll be responsible for month-end closing activities and preparing financial reports, ensuring you understand the story behind the numbers. Supporting stakeholders in their monthly business reviews is also a key part of the job.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders to prepare budgets and forecasts, and you'll review and control financial data to ensure it's accurate and complete. Proactively reporting financial results and communicating your findings to key stakeholders is essential.
Analyzing results and data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement is crucial. You'll develop standardized reporting processes and follow up on key initiatives. Supporting ad-hoc analysis and business cases is also part of your responsibilities.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues is vital. Lastly, contributing to the team and being a supportive team member is expected.
Skills and experience
- The candidate will be working out of client location in Copenhagen, Denmark office under the payroll of Cognizant, Denmark.
- The candidate will be the face of Cognizant and will work as a bridge between client and offshore (India Team) in building the strong working relationship, be the spoc and value delivery to customer.
- The candidate will work closely with SVP of client
- The candidate need to have strong experience in Finance, Planning and Analysis and with knowledge of Finance and Accounts
- The candidate should have worked in AX, HFM and Oracle PBCS with strong experience in MS Excel
- Experience in Retail industry and Danish GAAP is an added advantage
