App Security Specialist

  100% Remote - Spain

  We are seeking an App Security Specialist with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity Management and Governance. Experience in Drilling and Development is a plus. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel required.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of application security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures related to Identity Management and Governance.
  • Provide expert guidance on security best practices to development teams during the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of incidents.
  • Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on security awareness and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
  • Support the integration of security tools and technologies into existing systems and processes.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of security products and services.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during security-related projects and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and practices.

  KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong experience in Identity Management and Governance.
  • Minimum of 6 years and maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Nice to have experience in the Drilling and Development domain.
  • Proficient in conducting security assessments and audits.
  • Experience in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
  • Experience in providing security training and awareness programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
