Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 7 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GITHUB, Javascript, Java, TestNG and Selenium. Experience in the Media and Entertainment domain is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
· Lead the quality assurance efforts for our software development projects.
· Oversee the creation and execution of test plans and test cases.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers.
· Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG.
· Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality code and software releases.
· Conduct thorough testing of web applications using JavaScript and Java.
· Utilize GITHUB for version control and collaboration.
· Identify documents and track defects and issues.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
· Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
· Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in quality engineering.
Qualifications
· Must have strong experience with GITHUB, JavaScript, Java, TestNG and Selenium.
· Should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality engineering.
· Nice to have experience in the Media and Entertainment domain.
· Must be proficient in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
· Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
· Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
· Should have experience with version control systems.
· Must be familiar with industry standards and best practices in quality engineering.
· Should be proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
· Must be committed to continuous learning and improvement.
· Should have a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
