Associate Research Manager

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree/MBA/CA/ CFA/CPA or equivalent qualification

Responsibility:

Stakeholder/Business Management:

• Collate, understand and analyze information using quantitative techniques or established guidelines
  • • Contribute to the creation of research reports (contribution measured through client feedback).
  • • Write/update commentary and summarize events accurately without any supervision.
  • • Assist with quality review of work/products.
  • • Manage databases construct new and maintain existing ones.
  • • Data mining and data gathering as required for completion of client deliverables.
  • • Independently deliver products Generate at least one idea to improve existing product or develop a new one.
  • • Achieve individual SLA targets and account/team level collective targets.
  • • Document & review all process changes to improve process quality of the team.
  • • Ensure compliance to all process requirements is not below 100%.
  • • Ensure individual productivity levels are achieved as per the targets set every year.
  • • Complete all mandatory assessments and certifications applicable for the supported business.
  • • Maintain knowledge management database.

Knowledge Management:

Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop product/process knowledge and achive competitive positioning
  • • Build the knowledge infrastructure for the business databases and knowledge documents.
  • • Be aware of market data and business terminologies.
  • • Ensure ongoing smooth onshore relationship by providing regular client updates.
  • • Generate detailed reports for clients.

Process Improvements and Adherence:

•Adhere to set norms/standards on quality and business compliance
  • • Initiate and deliver process improvement projects to enhance process output/efficiencies.

Project Control, Management and Review / Program delivery:

• Construct and maintain databases for clients
  • • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients.
  • • Always meet agreed standards of quality and accuracy.
  • • Update deliverable log, task tracker, etc accurately and regularly.
  • • Create and manage existing databases.
  • • Extract and analyze data from websites, publications, data vendors, and clientinternal databases.
  • • Create and update client presentations when required.
  • • Analyze data as per client requirements.
  • • Familiarity with relevant Market Data Systems Eg Bloomberg/DataStream/Fact Set/Reuters, etc.
  • •Develop report writing and soft skills.

People/Team:

• Actively contribute to team initiative/meetings and present new thoughts/ideas
  • • Follow and actively foster a risk management culture within your team Raise and resolve issues with your line manager/HR/Legal &Compliance.
  • • Coordinate with team members for regular work.
  • • Complete internal trainings.
  • • Time management to efficiently deliver tasks.
  • • Report to the manager about performance status and escalations, if any.
