Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 7 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium along with domain expertise in Analytics. This hybrid role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software products. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results to stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify document and resolve software defects and issues.Ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards before release.Utilize domain expertise in Analytics to validate and verify data accuracy and integrity.Conduct performance testing to identify and address potential bottlenecks and performance issues.Mentor and guide junior quality engineers sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and testing methodologies.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support ongoing testing efforts.Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a proven track record of successful test automation.Demonstrate domain expertise in Analytics with the ability to validate and verify data accuracy.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Show experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.Have a proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensuring the highest quality standards in software products.Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior quality engineers.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and testing methodologies.Show experience in performance testing and identifying potential bottlenecks.Possess strong reporting and documentation skills to provide detailed analysis of test results.Exhibit a strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.Demonstrate the ability to participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Show experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools.
