Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Delta Sharing Databricks Unity Catalog Admin Databricks CLI Delta Live Pipelines Structured Streaming Risk Management Apache Airflow Amazon S3 Amazon Redshift Python Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is mandatory. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. No trav


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Delta Live Pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
  • Administer Databricks Unity Catalog to manage and secure data assets effectively.
  • Utilize Databricks CLI for seamless automation and management of Databricks resources.
  • Implement and manage Delta Sharing to facilitate secure data sharing across different platforms.
  • Design and execute Structured Streaming solutions to handle real-time data processing.
  • Apply risk management principles to identify and mitigate potential data-related risks.
  • Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate complex data workflows and ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage data storage and retrieval using Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift to support data analytics.
  • Develop and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Write and execute Databricks SQL queries to extract and analyze data efficiently.
  • Leverage Databricks Delta Lake to ensure data reliability and performance.
  • Create and manage Databricks Workflows to automate data processing tasks.
  • Utilize PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Delta Sharing and its implementation.
  • Have hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog Admin and Databricks CLI.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Delta Live Pipelines and Structured Streaming.
  • Apply risk management techniques effectively in data projects.
  • Proficient in using Apache Airflow Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift.
  • Skilled in Python programming and Databricks SQL.
  • Experience with Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks Workflows.
  • Proficient in PySpark for data processing.
  • Mandatory domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work model with a day shift.
  • No travel required.
