Job Summary:
We are seeking a Principal Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake, Data Transform Scripting Lang Architectural Design & Pattern DataOps Strategic Leadership Data Architect and AWS Services. This role requires strong domain skills in Design and Release Management New Product Development-Tech and Online.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex data architectures to support business objectives.
- Oversee the development and deployment of data transformation scripts to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Provide strategic leadership in the adoption and implementation of DataOps practices to enhance data management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and release new products ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Utilize AWS Services to design scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.
- Drive the adoption of architectural design patterns to improve system reliability and performance.
- Ensure that all data architecture solutions comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce latency.
- Conduct regular reviews of architectural designs to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and cloud services.
- Contribute to the companys strategic goals by delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Data Transform Scripting Lang demonstrating the ability to write and optimize complex scripts.
- Have a deep understanding of Architectural Design & Pattern with a proven track record of designing robust systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in DataOps including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
- Exhibit strong strategic leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Be proficient in Data Architect with experience in designing and managing large-scale data environments.
- Have hands-on experience with AWS Services including EC2 S3 RDS and Lambda.
- Show proficiency in Design and Release Management ensuring smooth and timely delivery of new products.
- Have a background in New Product Development-Tech with a focus on online platforms.
- Be fluent in English with excellent communication skills for both written and spoken interactions.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and address technical challenges.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) TOGAF 9 Certified
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between 170,000 – $ 180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
