We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong Java programming skills and extensive experience in test automation frameworks to join our QEA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

In this role, you will:
- Create and execute complex automated test scripts for testing business critical automation scripts using tools such as Java based Framework, Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, TestNG.
- Need to possess Java development experience and have contributed towards the Framework creation/customization based on the requirements.
- Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Provide expertise in testing Rest APIs to ensure robust and reliable integrations.
- Perform API automation testing using REST Assured to validate backend services and to ensure the reliability and performance of web services.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality standards and best practices.
- Involved in Agile Process from attending Scrum Call, Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning & Sprint Retrospective for all the deliverables.
- Sharing the Daily Status Report with project stakeholders and providing Go/No-Go decisions for production releases.
- Overall 7-12 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar automation testing role.
- Must have 4+ years of strong experience in BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
- Must have strong hands-on experience in Web automation (Selenium) & API automation (Rest Assured, Cucumber BDD, etc.)
- Good understanding of OOPS concepts and practical knowledge in applying it to the framework.
- Expertise in scripting languages including Java Have expertise in testing Rest APIs and ensuring their reliability.
- Proven track record in developing test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Expertise in tools like SoapUI/Rest API, REST Assured, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to mentor and guide junior team members effectively
- Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps with Integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline.
