Job Description:

  1. Working experience in Cable & Telecom Industry is MUST
  2. Experience in Device activation (Wifi Routers, Docsis Cable Modems, ONU, XUMO Boxes, Video STB) is MUST
  3. Join daily stand-up and weekly project meetings
  4. Draft test strategy/ plan for assigned project modules
  5. Review test plan with QA lead (client), PM and incorporate feedback provided by reviewers/approvers
  6. Coordination & communication with multiple internal and external Dev/QA/BA/architect team members
  7. Task allocation, coordination & communication with offshore team
  8. Review of QA deliverables (test strategy/ plan/ results) from offshore
  9. Requirements and test cases should be uploaded to Octane with traceability established
  10. Troubleshoot/triage issues during test execution to narrow down the root cause for defect creation
  11. Publish test execution report daily capturing the test metrics and defects

Skillset: ALM Octane, JIRA, SQL, Postman, SOAP UI, Splunk, Agile/Scrum

  • The annual salary for this position is between $104K – $120K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
