Job responsibilities

    • Platform Administration & Maintenance
    • Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online, ensuring platform availability, performance, and security.
    • Monitor and manage SharePoint Online services, including permissions, compliance, and access controls.
    • Oversee backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and continuity.
    • Governance & Compliance
    • Implement and enforce governance policies, including permissions management, site provisioning, and compliance standards.
    • Support audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments related to SharePoint data governance.
    • Work with IT security teams to enforce security best practices, access controls, and data protection policies.
    • User Support & Training
    • Provide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint-related incidents and service requests.
    • Collaborate with business units to support SharePoint usage, conduct user training, and improve adoption.
    • Develop and maintain documentation on SharePoint Online configurations, policies, and procedures.
    • Integration & Enhancements
    • Manage integration with Microsoft 365 services such as OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, and Power BI.
    • Assist with content migration and lifecycle management for SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and databases.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    • The annual salary for this position is [$73,350 to $116,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
    • This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
