Sr. Test Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Test Analyst with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Test Metrics and Reporting Test and Defect Management Defect Tracking Tools JIRA JavaScript and Cypress Automation. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. Hands on experience in Cypress automation is a must.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases and test scripts using Cypress Automation.
  • Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders to track progress and quality.
  • Manage and track defects using JIRA ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in the testing process.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and performance.
  • Implement best practices in test and defect management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all testing activities.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices and methodologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the project by ensuring high-quality deliverables.

  • Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Test Metrics and Reporting Test and Defect Management and Defect Tracking Tools JIRA.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Cypress Automation.
  • Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
