Sr. Test Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Test Analyst with 7 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Tosca and a background in Research and Development is a plus. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a day shift. No travel is required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans and test cases using Tosca.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing progress defects and overall quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Ensure all testing activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify document and track defects to resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on defects to prevent future occurrences.
  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings to provide input from a testing perspective.
  • Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices and methodologies.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Contribute to the development of automated test scripts using Tosca.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing activities and project status.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing.
  • Have extensive experience with Tosca for test automation.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Show a background in Research and Development is a plus.
  • Display a strong understanding of software development life cycle.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Tosca Automation Specialist or equivalent certification in software testing.
