UI Lead Engineer with React (Remote)
We are seeking a highly qualified UI Lead Engineer - React (Remote) with 10+ years of experience in React and Next JS. This hybrid work model offers the flexibility of day shifts, allowing you to contribute effectively without the need for travel. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level web applications using React and Next.js.
- Utilize the Vitest framework to write, automate, and maintain unit and integration tests for React components.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Next.js expertise. Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.
- Testing Knowledge, Solid understanding of testing practices, with Test-Driven Development (TDD) being a strong plus.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to empower team members and enhance their technical skills.
- Contribute to the companys strategic goals by driving innovation and efficiency in software development processes.
Qualifications
- 10+ HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6, and TypeScript, Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and language features.
- Component-Based Architecture. Familiarity with reusable UI components and efficient state management in large-scale applications.
- Version Control. Proficient in Git, Git workflows, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL

The annual salary for this position is between $120k– $141k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
