Job Summary
The Sr. Product Test Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With a focus on Guidewire applications the candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans identifying defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for Guidewire applications to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests using tools like Selenium and Cucumber to validate software functionality.
- Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for SOAP WSDL and REST Web Services to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Utilize Core Java skills to enhance test automation frameworks and improve testing efficiency.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to Guidewire applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in software testing. Qualifications
- Possess strong experience in testing Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using SOAP WSDL and REST Web Services for testing purposes.
- Exhibit expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
- Have a solid understanding of Core Java for developing and maintaining test scripts.
- Experience in Claim Assignment domain is a plus.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with strong communication skills.
