Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Full Stack Developer with 6+ years experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Columbus, Ohio (Onsite)

Roles/Responsibilities:

· Design and develop scalable, high‑performance applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Core Java that aligns with business and technical requirements.

· Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, analyze, and refine requirements into actionable technical tasks.

· Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, contributing to overall code quality and maintainability.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to application performance and user experience.

· Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and team effectiveness.

· Support and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting technical growth within the team.

· Work closely with project managers to support planning, estimation, and timely delivery of project milestones.

· Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing development and future enhancements.

  • Contribute to Agile processes, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 18, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 60,000- $ 93,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
