About the role

As an Assistant Vice President – Business Foundation Services Head & AI, Cloud & Infrastructure Services Sales, you will make an impact by leading global sales strategy and execution across cloud, infrastructure, and business foundation services. You will be a valued member of the CIS leadership team and work collaboratively with sales, delivery, solutioning, alliances, and executive leadership to drive sustainable growth and market expansion.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive industry‑leading revenue growth across Cloud Services.
  • Serve as Head of the Business Foundation Services (BFS) Practice for CIS, with accountability for growth and execution.
  • Lead offerings and go‑to‑market execution with key AI partners.
  • Create and position differentiated CIS offerings in the AI‑for‑Infrastructure space.
  • Lead global sales strategy and execution for cloud, infrastructure, and business foundation services, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute differentiated go‑to‑market strategies aligned with Cognizant’s growth objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing sales teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and results.
  • Partner closely with delivery, solutioning, and alliance teams to design and sell complex, outcome‑driven solutions.
  • Engage with executive‑level stakeholders to position Cognizant as a strategic partner for large‑scale technology transformation initiatives.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise or global sales organizations within cloud, infrastructure, or managed services.
  • Proven success driving large‑scale revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and enterprise IT transformation.
  • Demonstrated embodiment of the Cognizant Way to Lead: Leading Self, Leading Others, and Leading the Business.

These will help you succeed

  • Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large revenue portfolios.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and fast‑changing market environments.
  • Experience partnering with hyperscalers and technology ecosystem providers.

Work model

Pay Transparency

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until May 22nd, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $220,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
