Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Developer (Hybrid) with 8+ year of experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot Microservices and Spring Framework to meet business requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver efficient and scalable architecture solutions.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance, reliability, and minimal impact on delivery timelines.
· Conduct code reviews, perform testing, and enforce best practices to maintain high standards of code quality and security compliance.
· Drive continuous improvement by adopting modern development practices, Agile methodologies, and innovative solutions, while contributing effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience with strong expertise in Spring Boot Microservices and Spring Framework, building robust and scalable applications.
· Proven ability to design and implement scalable architectures, with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
· Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in cross-functional teams and hybrid environments.
· Knowledge of Cards and Payments domain, along with experience in building resilient systems and exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics), is a plus.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337 $ 163,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
