Job Summary
The Lead Quality Engineer role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The candidate will leverage their expertise in automation testing and domain knowledge to drive excellence in software quality. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment while contributing to impactful projects in the Cards and Payments domain.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python 3.x to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify document and resolve software defects effectively.
- Utilize Jira for tracking and managing test cases defects and project progress to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Perform SQL-based data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across systems.
- Conduct ETL tool application testing to validate data transformations and ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve testing methodologies and enhance overall product quality.
- Oversee the testing lifecycle including planning execution and reporting to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with domain experts to understand Cards and Payments requirements and incorporate them into testing strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and reduce time-to-market for software releases.
- Support hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks and communication in both remote and in-office settings.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python 3.x for automation and scripting tasks.
- Showcase expertise in Jira for project tracking and defect management.
- Exhibit strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Possess hands-on experience with ETL tool application testing and data transformation validation.
- Have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Bring domain knowledge in Cards and Payments which is considered a valuable asset.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving software issues.
- Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Present strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.

- Have a minimum of 6 years and maximum of 9 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.
