Job Summary
This role involves designing implementing and managing advanced cybersecurity solutions for critical national infrastructure. The CyberSecurity Architect will focus on firewall operations and implementations across Azure AWS and Palo Alto platforms ensuring robust protection against evolving threats. The position requires hybrid work and night shifts with no travel obligations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies tailored to critical national infrastructure needs ensuring optimal protection against emerging threats.
- Manage and oversee firewall operations including configuration monitoring and maintenance to ensure seamless network security.
- Design and deploy advanced firewall solutions across Azure and AWS platforms leveraging their native tools for enhanced security.
- Utilize Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls to provide deep visibility and control over network traffic ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical expertise in the implementation and optimization of Azure Firewall and AWS Firewall Manager solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for firewall configurations policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Train and mentor junior team members on firewall operations and cybersecurity best practices to build a skilled workforce.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to continuously enhance the organizations security posture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of firewall solutions with existing IT infrastructure to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in firewall operations including configuration troubleshooting and optimization.
- Demonstrate expertise in implementing and managing Azure Firewall and AWS Firewall Manager solutions.
- Have hands-on experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls including policy creation and traffic analysis.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Showcase proficiency in conducting security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Display excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Hold a proven track record of designing and deploying advanced cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure.
