Job Summary
This role is for a Product Specialist in a hybrid work model focused on delivering functional expertise in Product Lifecycle Management using Teamcenter for an MNC client environment. The specialist will analyze business needs configure PLM solutions support end users and ensure consistent alignment with enterprise product data standards across the complete lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand product lifecycle processes and translate them into detailed Teamcenter functional requirements that support strategic enterprise goals
- Customize and configure Teamcenter functionalities to align with defined PLM business rules ensuring consistent product data management and traceability across the organization
- Coordinate with technical teams to validate solution feasibility and provide detailed functional specifications that guide development configuration and integration activities
- Conduct functional testing of Teamcenter enhancements and configurations to verify that solutions meet business expectations while maintaining system stability and data integrity
- Prepare comprehensive functional design documents process maps and user guidance materials that clearly communicate the intended PLM solution behavior and usage
- Deliver user training sessions and hands on demonstrations in Teamcenter to improve adoption efficiency and confidence among diverse business and engineering teams
- Analyze existing PLM workflows and propose improvements that streamline change management product release and configuration control activities for better throughput
- Monitor day to day Teamcenter usage identify recurring issues and coordinate resolution with support and technical teams to maintain a reliable user experience
- Align PLM configurations with companywide standards and compliance requirements ensuring that product data governance and audit readiness are consistently maintained
- Partner with cross functional teams such as design manufacturing quality and supply chain to ensure that PLM solutions meet end to end lifecycle needs and improve collaboration
- Track key performance indicators related to PLM adoption data quality and process efficiency and use these insights to recommend targeted solution refinements
- Support hybrid working practices by enabling clear documentation remote collaboration and secure access to Teamcenter so that distributed teams can work efficiently
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by researching PLM best practices and emerging capabilities and suggesting enhancements that increase business value and societal impact through better managed products
Qualifications
- Possess professional experience of three to seven years working in roles focused on PLM functional analysis configuration or support in enterprise environments
- Demonstrate strong functional knowledge of PLM concepts including product structures change management configurations releases and lifecycle states applied in practical scenarios
- Bring hands on experience working with Teamcenter modules such as engineering bill of materials document management workflows and related functional capabilities
- Apply understanding of product lifecycle management domain practices to connect PLM solutions with real world engineering manufacturing and service processes
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non technical collaborators using structured documentation and presentations that support shared understanding of PLM solutions
- Utilize analytical and problem solving skills to investigate user issues data inconsistencies and process gaps and to recommend pragmatic and sustainable solutions
- Adapt effectively to a hybrid work model by managing time priorities and remote collaboration tools to support global stakeholders during standard day shifts
