Role Overview
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) – RPA & AI Automation will lead large‑scale enterprise automation initiatives leveraging UiPath and Azure OpenAI. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end program governance, delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and execution across global teams within an Agile / ADO‑driven environment.

- Experience Requirements
- 10+ years in IT Program / Project Management
- Proven delivery of enterprise RPA / AI automation programs
- Experience leading global onshore/offshore teams
- Experience in Scaled Agile environments
- Experience acting as SPOC for program communication
- Experience working with senior leadership and influence decisions
- High adaptability to complex enterprise / legacy environments
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Automation & Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in UiPath SDLC and automation frameworks
- Experience with Azure OpenAI or AI platforms
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices
- Strong exposure to enterprise architecture & transformations
- Program & Delivery Management
- End-to-end program governance and delivery ownership
- Expertise in scope, schedule, risk, dependency & financial management
- Strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities
- Strong team leadership & delivery accountability
- Executive-level communication & reporting (KPIs, risks, milestones)
- Ability to establish and run program governance & steering committee meetings
- Agile & Delivery Execution
- Strong Agile methodology execution
- Hands-on experience managing Agile projects using Azure DevOps (ADO) boards
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics (velocity, throughput, predictability)
- Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Strong stakeholder management across business and IT
- Strong track record in stakeholder engagement & satisfaction improvement
Optional / Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with UiPath (RPA)
- Advanced experience with GenAI / Azure OpenAI implementations
- Experience with DevOps (CI/CD, release mgmt, version control)
- Experience improving DevOps maturity & deployment efficiency
- Exposure to solution architecture (scalability, security, integration)
Salary and Other Compensation:
The salary for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
